O' Cum All Ye' Faithful

Has your birth control method ever failed? Or, maybe you had unprotected sex with your lover. If so, what did you do to stop his seed from finding a permanent home in the soft lining of your uterus?

Did you fall to your knees and pray for a miracle? Please God, Please. No children. No baby. I'll be a good girl, I promise!

Or, what if, in a moment of proactive self-protection, you participated in the holiest of all sacraments, the Eucharist.

I traveled the winding road to Mecca (i.e. Planned Parenthood) on Monday to renew my faith. And, when I walked through those Golden Doors of Heaven I heard the angels singing God's praises. After I made my contribution to the offering plate ($44), I felt the Holy Spirit descend upon me. Before receiving Holy Communion, I passionately sermonized (sperminized):

"Take this, all of you, and eat it:
this is my body which will be given up for you.
When supper was ended, he took the cup.
Again he gave you thanks and praise,
gave the cup to his disciples, and said:
Take this, all of you, and drink from it:
this is the cup of my blood,
the blood of the new and everlasting covenant.
It will be shed for you and for all
so that sins may be forgiven.
Do this in memory of me."

Thank you Lord. You truly are a kind and benevolent God.

Peace be with you.

Amen.

Whoa, you mean I'm the first one to even append to this? It's just me, Mistress DeP, too shy (or too freakin' lazy) to get a username. Only a true whore would understand this, so the rest of you contentious, hypocritical, cast-offs better back it up! Ain't none of ya'll gonna be casting stones here! Just to clarify, it was in fact "The Church" that confused Mary Magdalene with the "other" Mary. According to scholars (and whores who care) Mary M was actually doin' alright for herself when she decided to back Jesus financially and administratively. It's no mistake that she was the first one to find Him risen. That pissed off most males in the early Church and they decided to give her a "bad-girl" rep, cuz, let's face it, nothings sexier to a guy than a whore whose "got religion". Then they can sit there with glee as they wait for her screw somebody else. Why else would Rahab get so much press in the Old Testament? Because she was a good-hearted whore, that's why. (Sorry, I'm commenting on two posts for the price of one) I can remember distinctly, as the "Gigi" in a whole family of whores, how girls would come to our house, terrified that they were pregnant. Everyone knew that my mother would go to the drugstore, buy an EPT and calm each girl down, without reproach or guilt. And sometimes, they were pregnant. She never once made any of them feel ashamed. And she took care of them, in a way their own mothers, their own churches, would never do. If you've never seen Christ up close, let me tell you something, watching my mother counsel a teenage girl was about as close as I've ever been to seeing God. Would that we were all so merciful.

Mary Magdala was a woman who came from a wealthy family and definitely did not need to sell her body; if she offered it i believe it was freely and willingly (obviously a choice most prostitutes do not have the right to make).Mistress, you said it so brilliantly. Peter particularly was jealous of her, if you study the texts of Nag Hammadi, you will understand all there is to know about HER:
'...As for the Wisdom who is called "the barren," she is the mother of the angels. And the companion of the [...] Mary Magdalene. [...] loved her more than all the disciples, and used to kiss her often on her mouth. The rest of the disciples [...]. They said to him "Why do you love her more than all of us?" The Savior answered and said to them,"Why do I not love you like her? When a blind man and one who sees are both together in darkness, they are no different from one another. When the light comes, then he who sees will see the light, and he who is blind will remain in darkness." (Gospel of Phillip)

Yeah, DeP, you're so right, they gave her a bad rep...and you know what? She accepted it. Why? Because she loved whores and was not ashamed to be called one. She's the Goddess who's there to unite us from our mind's division, and heal us from women hatred, a hatred related to their sexual wisdom. I think she's coming back to teach us acceptance of female sexuality and all the mysteries behind it.

Madame DePoitier would like to thank the most gracious and eloquent stranger. Perhaps this conversation deserves to be taken somewhere more private? I believe you would be an interesting corespondant. Much like my nom-de-guerre, I enjoy conversing with many people, on many different subjects...(From somewhere off-stage, Sally S. shouts "Get a bloody room, will you?")

Not at all dears. Please, by all means, enjoy one another! And no need to get room! I'm a voyeur! ;)

Also, thanks for the clarification on Mary M. Anonymous, I am not an expert on scripture, nor do I really aspire to be, yet it is interesting to view it from a mythological perspective- as these myths are such important scripts within in the thread of humanity- whether they are actual historical fact or not- people still instinctively soak in the prevailing attitudes-and they become a part of how we think. Time, then, is devoted to undoing the damage done.

Personally, I enjoy delivering a high-heeled groin kick to "religion" daily through a poisonous cocktail of hard-core sexuality mixed with a shot of social rebellion!

Cheers!

Call me “boring” or “unsexy” but I think you misread my words, my darlings. I tend to be rather straightforward when I talk about sex. I also resent using subliminal messages intentionally, as everyday, I witness the detrimental effects and damages caused by mental manipulation of advertising on our society.

Hard core porn? You know what I don’t like about it? They make you believe that you could have sex with anyone freely without facing the consequences. Condom is a must and much better than pill, it’s high time the Catholic Roman church admit this.

You are then, either a man of the cloth or an educator, or perhaps both? What was so tantalizing about Sally's post that prompted you to respond? She did not say "hard core porn" she said "hard core sexuality". This means that she, and I, for that matter, are embracing our sexual nature to its limits, rather than remain entrenched in the old, dead relics of ideology. Porn? I detest the stuff. The things inside my head are far more seductive than any visual substitution on a cathode tube. I'd rather spend the afternoon with books and dead philosophers. However, I am curious, what did you hope to gain by taking the "higher" moral ground? To posit that whores, by their very nature, are lowly ignorant creatures? Hardly. To hold them in esteem, awe and a soupcon of fear is wisdom.

Not really. Since porn is generally done in a manufactured environment with controls in place, it probably one of the "safer" places where sexuality is explored. Actors are regularly tested and safe sex standards are observed.

I realize, in the real world (not hard core porn) , safety concerns about partners- protecting oneself is crucial. And I agree, the church needs to be a hell of a lot more realistic in their approach. Yet, at the same time, if one is worried about disease or pregnancy, there is the concept of mutual masturbation- or just oral sex- with a dental damn or condom in place- which would be pretty fucking safe. Also, bdsm, whipping, spanking, humiliation etc can all be done without any genital contact.

I should clarify as well. I am not a "hard core" porn star- although I know others who are and respect them immensely. Nor am I an advocate of risky/unsafe sex. However, I am still a whore- a free whore, to be exact. There are many ways to whore oneself out- it’s a philosophy of living and does not only apply to sexuality- although sexuality is its most recognizable form.

Mistress DeP, I love you!

Swoon! That's lovely.
